My Leadership Adventure
โโโ
My career has been both diverse and rewarding. From the front lines as a police precinct commander to the C-suite as Chief Ethics Officer, and steering a $2 billion sales powerhouse, my journey has been anything but typical.
โ
Each role has sharpened my insights into what truly drives people and powers teams to be successful.
โ
I don’t just talk about building high-performing teams and effective leadership, I’ve lived it. My coaching is practical, no-nonsense, and shaped by the real-world challenges that leaders and individuals face every day.
"Eight Passports & Counting"
After stamping my way through over 100 countries and swapping out eight passports, my love for travel and working with diverse teams in a global world —shows no signs of slowing down. From training rooms to boardrooms, I’ve had the honor of helping people and organizations reach their goals, all while embracing the quirks and cultures that make each place unique.

Tree Rings - The Rings of Life
I chose the symbol of the Tree Ring as my logo. Tree growth rings are a powerful metaphor for resilience and the passage of time. They tell a story of strength, adaptation, and growth. But there’s a bittersweet side, too: a growth ring is only visible once a tree’s journey has ended.
โ
โMy love for trees is profound. On the 30 acres of land I’m developing in Temple, NH — our place called Mahala — I’m practising the art of logging. As a certified chainsaw operator (yes, you read that right!), I’ve found this to be one of the most empowering skills I’ve developed in recent years. It might seem contradictory, but it’s given me a unique perspective: I get to choose which trees can continue growing, and most often, I choose life.
โ
Just like trees, people grow in stages, both physically and emotionally. In my work, I nurture that growth in others, investing in their “growth rings and” fostering development that builds strength over time without needing to see a final ring.
โ
If you’re as fascinated by the life and resilience of trees as I am, I highly recommend the book The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben. It's a wonderful reminder of the lessons we can draw from nature's quiet giants.
